Monica Retamal, Director of Ki Teknology and CEO of Kodea Foundation, along with Katia Trusich, Undersecretary of Economy, were awarded the "Women in Technology 2015" for promoting and propelling the campaign "Hour of Code" in Chile.
"Kodea want to articulate a solution that points to the growth of talent, attracting people who come from other industries and raising the needs of technology companies, so, training in line with the current requirements of the industry," said Monica Retamal.
"The Hour of Code" was held in Chile in October 2015, thanks to the management and coordination of Kodea Foundation. In the activity, children completed an hour playing, learning and creating technology, in order to understand the "Computer Programming".
