The multinational technology company IBM brought to the country the Digital Marketing University, a program focused on the development and use of digital marketing strategies and its importance in the future.

The Chilean version of the IBM initiative emphasized the use of the latest developments regarding marketing automation, designed to offer the right product to the right customer and bounded time.

"The importance of using digital marketing lies in the proper use of new technologies in order to provide specific guidelines regarding the marketing properly" said Patricio Martinez, Commerce Leader of IBM Chile.

On the other hand, Martinez also stated that "given the extensive development of mobile devices is difficult to understand that even though currently exist globally 5.2 billion mobile devices, few companies develop digital campaigns," making it clear that the industry has not yet understood the importance and opportunities of advertising and digital marketing today and in the future.
